Dotmocracy
Our Dotmocracy was held on May 26. A lot of excited kids got to pick what kind of playground equipment they would like to see on our new playground. It was very nice to see the older kids helping the younger ones. We are anxiously awaiting the draft plans, then it will seem so much more real when we can see what we are working towards. It will get everyone excited again.

Announcement and Talent Show
On May 7, 2011 the Darwell Betterment Association made the big announcement that we will be building a playground for our community on September 24, 2011. The video was played announcing the award from Let Them Be Kids with excited shouts from the audience.
The 2nd Annual Darwell Talent Night was also held. With 15 acts we had a very entertaining evening. From singing, dancing, piano, poetry and a magic show fun was had by all in attendance. We raised $2,400.00, which with the Let Them Be Kids award is now $4,800.00.
Pictures will soon be posted.
